FEPPS at 7th Annual Wang Symposium

Former students, volunteers and staff presented with New Connections‘ director, Theresa Power-Drutis and graduate Keisha Patterson at ‪Pacific Lutheran University‘s 7th Biennial Wang Center Symposium Countenance of Hope last week. Thank you to Dr. Jennifer Smith, director of PLU Women’s Center, for mediating, and the Symposium organizers for giving our students a platform to be heard outside of prison. Students at WCCW wrote short impact statements which were read by FEPPS faculty Lizz Zitron, alumni and board member Shajuanda Tate, former student Danielle Azevedo, and program manager Mary Weir.
